is it possible for a house to show emotion?

this place seems to beam with excitement over the new owners who moved in last week

Wouldn't I just love t be the new owner!
I'm sure it is as glad as glad can be. Houses are like that, they so desperately need to be loved.

Regardless of whether the house is excited, I am sure that the new owners are.

With so many foreclosures, there are a lot of houses in need of love.

That is quite a layer of snow on top of the house. Will the new warmth inside help to thin that layer?

Ahh how lovely is this house! And so much snow around, it gave a special touch in this composition!
For me the emotion is something from childhood, from those adorable books, with romantic stories about Princes and Princesses, about poetry and angels, about a place where I can understand all languages , even animals...they also can understand me! :)
A good feeling for sure!

It is a beautiful one, although I really don't get the solid double doors at the left side of the porch. Renovations needed . . .

This is enchanting. Good to know it has new owners that will bring it back to life.

After looking through the upper windows, it looks like unpacking still needs some work. Sure takes a long time to settle into a new residence. I'm curious, too, about the double doors on the left side of the entrance. Very intriguing. The house looks well-maintained and very inviting.

For those curious about the double doors, they were installed by the previous owner to create a storage area on the porch.

Houses have souls, and memories; how could they not show their emotions?..

It looks pretty happy to me. Empty houses seem sorta sad.

I should hope so.

What a cool house with a lot of character. Interesting second floor layout I bet.

I love, love that style of Queen Anne older home! Lucky new owners! I just hope they're handy....

Uh, I don't know. Is it possible for the porch to collapse under the weight of snow? I think this one has been tested.

That is a gorgeous renovation! My favorite type house. But what's all that white stuff? Where's the green grass? Sheesh!

Wonderful photograph! Picture perfect, almost Currier and Ives-like in its beauty.

I think so, it depends who lives in it.
