Oh, oh! Looks like another ice dam...a curse of bad weather. My first reaction, tho, was if I were in the market for another house, I think I'd look for one painted yellow! This one looks like it could be converted quite easily into a home.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Very custard indeed.
I guess that the house is left painted a dark coloron the first floor so that the icicles will shop up better in the photo.
just want to say hello
:)

I do like the two-tone paint job...and your photo shows off this property in a spectacular manner!
Icicles? Nah. They can go!
Swing? Yeah. That stays.
Now, for spring to come!
Thanks for your comment on Florida Fotos today...Apopka is a funky little town just west of Orlando and I took the shot about a week ago.
Now you've got me thinking of vanilla custard . . .mmm, mm. . .
That is truly a beautiful home and your photo emphasizes that beauty.
Charming indeed!
So charming house.
It certainly does. Yummy house. MB
the snow must be deep? looks as if the tire swing would drag....beautiful homey home!
It looks like a house from a fairy tale, lost in the depth of snow and forest..
I see Autumn is still hanging on too!
More snow on the way!

Adorable and I like the asymetric placement of the icicles... It does look a bit chilly there, brrrrrr!

I agree, a nice house that would be a lovely home.
And lovely hearts!
A happy home, with good energies and positivism!
ADorable place!

Absolutely enchanting!
Well, the house was there all along, but it takes an artist to see through it and to define it. Good one.
Custard paint. I love that description and can almost taste frozen custard at the state fair!
Beautiful setting, nicely framed. But, my you have such big icicles! Don't stand beneath them (remember The Lovely Bones)
crisp! Thumbs up!
Do you believe me if I tell you I've never seen icicles? :-) Those look gorgeous against the lovely dark house.
