Very custard indeed.

I guess that the house is left painted a dark coloron the first floor so that the icicles will shop up better in the photo.

Oh, oh! Looks like another ice dam...a curse of bad weather. My first reaction, tho, was if I were in the market for another house, I think I'd look for one painted yellow! This one looks like it could be converted quite easily into a home.

I do like the two-tone paint job...and your photo shows off this property in a spectacular manner!

Icicles? Nah. They can go!

Swing? Yeah. That stays.

Now, for spring to come!

Thanks for your comment on Florida Fotos today...Apopka is a funky little town just west of Orlando and I took the shot about a week ago.

It looks like a house from a fairy tale, lost in the depth of snow and forest..

More snow on the way!

Adorable and I like the asymetric placement of the icicles... It does look a bit chilly there, brrrrrr!

Absolutely enchanting!

Well, the house was there all along, but it takes an artist to see through it and to define it. Good one.

Custard paint. I love that description and can almost taste frozen custard at the state fair!

Beautiful setting, nicely framed. But, my you have such big icicles! Don't stand beneath them (remember The Lovely Bones)

Do you believe me if I tell you I've never seen icicles? :-) Those look gorgeous against the lovely dark house.
