I prefer the newly fallen snow which Sharon calls "a clean canvas." Your road looks newly plowed.

Beautiful light and beautiful tree. And look at all that snow on the left!
The clear, dry winter air is beautiful, but as I recall from living in cold climates more than 30 years ago, it can also mean very cold nights when the sun no longer provides its warmth.
I love that shaft of light on all the trees. That is quite a large pile of snow that has been pushed to one side of the road.
Well the road plow has been busy I see.
