The clear, dry winter air is beautiful, but as I recall from living in cold climates more than 30 years ago, it can also mean very cold nights when the sun no longer provides its warmth.
Bonjour dear friend! I was here smiling appreciating your previous posts, and I loved your special picture to Malyss, with beautiful tree and bench! ahhh all snow...at first sight it's magnificent, but after some days I'm really tired of snow! :) Thanks so much for your friendship and a beautiful 2011 for you and your family! Léia
Honestly, I don't understand how you guys get around up there at this time of year unless you use those giant rigs like the drivers on Ice Road Truckers.

And the white, white, white all around. We have a fresh layer this morning: a clean canvas.
I prefer the newly fallen snow which Sharon calls "a clean canvas." Your road looks newly plowed.
Isn't it wonderful how the snow accentuates the bare bones of trees and fences?
Hello!
I agree with You.
Wonderful scene!
And fresh air. You have this treasure every day.
Beautiful light and beautiful tree. And look at all that snow on the left!

I love that shaft of light on all the trees. That is quite a large pile of snow that has been pushed to one side of the road.
Well the road plow has been busy I see.
Nice shot---I always loved the bare trees. MB
A beautiful New England scene.
Most of our snow is gone at the moment.
☼ Sunny
A wonderful brisk sunny winter's morning...
But, where doth the road lead? That is the question!
And the perspective is so attractive, I'd like to walk there, as far as possible..
It's a peaceful beauty after the storm.
Well, it looks like you got some good snowfall. Another nice shot. Looks brisk.

Maybe less spectacular, but more livable!
That's a big pile of snow you have there! Great photo too.
Very nice country scene. How much has melted since you took the picture?
