When the wind dies, the branches catch their breath.. When the wind starts up again, the branche harmonize with each other.

Yup, sure is a big tree! I like the fence that runs across the property. I wonder if it creaks and groans in harmony with the tree?

I can hear it..What we take for wind in the branches is in reality the sound of the trees whispering..

There are two really high trees behind my house and the sound they make on windy days is too much sometimes! :-)

Of course...I first heard them singing in the wind. And the melody was so fine. Then came the harmony. A Vermont chorale!

The light is this is superb. A perfect snow day it looks to me. The sound of branches moving is amazing. Have you heard bamboo move?
