Your framing tells even better than your words that the protagonist in this photo is what is missing.

This mountain has a cool name!I'm curious!
And your picture is brilliant, perfect indeed!
If you don't mind I would like one more time to write some words from Mario Quintana, Brazilian poet that I love so much...
"...in the picture that I do about myself
- Trace the dash --
I sometimes paint cloud
I sometimes paint tree ...
I sometimes paint things
that not more memory ...
or things that do not exist
but one day there will be ...
and thus read, in which I seek
- Little by little --
my eternal likeness
the end, what remains?
A child's drawing ...
Completed by a madman!"
(Mário Quintana)

Have a wonderful weekend dear Brattcat, enjoy your beautiful city, it's a paradise!
Hugs

That's why I love clouds, they are magicians!
I agree with Cezar and leia, your town is a kind of paradise!
And thank you for your very special comment on my blog today,it went directly to my heart.

Funny! I've never thought of clouds as having plump white rumps...heh, heh!

I was going to comment on the mountain, but there is no mountain...I see a church spire (I think that's a church; could be a school, or a courthouse or just a flagpole - it's hard to tell with that cloud's plump white rump hazing things up) ... whatever, I like it.

That is a cold, frosty scene. Is it any wonder that most of our thoughts of the holidays center on small towns, churches with tall steeples, snow all around and kids sledding. Your town could be one giant postcard.

Stay WARM!

Bratt Catt: Your photos this week have been fabulous! I have enjoyed them so much. The way this tower peeks into the foreground of this photo is just lovely!

Wonderful photo, as usual! I didn't know other mountains liked to play hide-and-seek as much as ours. Or perhaps peek-a-boo?

Lovely shot. Clouds are like that, they like to sit down once in a while.
