Hello dear friend! oh girl, the comment that you left at "Bonjour" got me and Cezar laughing so much, only you to think about "three magi"! Cute YOU! :) Thanks so much for your friendship! Hey this house detail is promising, I'm curious to see more after this restoration work. Great shot! Hugs Léia
I can just imagine how charming this place must be. Restoration is so time-consuming, devilish and costly, but the rewards of an old house just can't be found in a new one.
This house certainly is worth restoring. The time and work needed to keep up a frame, painted house is illustrated by the fact that my brother decided to do put up new siding and new windows on his two-story house himself to save money.
What was supposed to be a project to be done during his summer vacation became a project he did not complete until Christmas vacation -- and this was in northern Minnesota, not where you want to be doing outdoor work in December.
I expect the people working on this house do not want to be working outside in Vermont in the sinter.
This is an interesting old house. The photo catches it as it is in the processes of restoration which is more interesting than either a before or an after shot. The viewer becomes part of the transformation.
It will be gorgeous. Like MB, I wondered if it used to be a church? It's wonderful to see old houses becoming new again... I hope our neighbors say the same about ours, even though things are going very, very slowly since we do it all ourselves.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

I'm not a realtor but I must say, "it's got lots of potential!"

Nice composition in this one. By the way--- Tuesday, January 5 is surgery d-day @MMC.
An oeil-de-boeuf being restored is always a nice sight.

I like seeing "before" and "after" in one very nice shot!
It looks like a lovely old house with 'good bones'. I bet it will be a beauty when it's finished.
Sunny :)
Its a very special house !!
It needs only a little paint ;)
Enjoy your sunday ....
It looks like it will be beautiful again. I wonder if it was a church in another life? MB
I really like the composition.
I see a wonderful house: the works are going well, I guess...
It's great to see some of the architectural details preserved. I like those icicles on the side.
