wow it looks like a mansion! Adorable snow in all place, and that stair is leading for great surprises inside, I enlarged the picture and it's fabulous. Nothing compares of it! Léia
I love old brick buildings, a nice contrast with the snow. Our town hall is very much the small New England, white clapboard meeting hall. Keep warm. Sunny :)
The white of the snow makes this building even more suggestive... Our town hall in Trieste is maybe not to be described as particularly valuable, but its strong point is that it stands in an immense square just in front of the (Adriatic) sea.
Wow! Amazing building. I can just imagine it as a school, the grand staircase welcoming groups of excited, enthusiastic children. I am so glad that the building has a new life as town offices.
Nice snowy scene. All our snow in Boston got washed away by the rain, but we are going to Vermont for the weekend to enjoy some snow and frigid temperatures.
My town offices are in an old palace in the old town. There are columns, palm-trees, flowers in front of it.Our flag with the red eagle. And blue sky above. No snow..
Looks like Vermont got hit with BIG snow. Wonderful looking building, a classic! I bet every old town has got one of these, being used a bit differently today then before.
Very nice house, the snow makes it look charming. I've posted the town hall before but I don't know how to put a link in a comment form... What I haven't posted yet are the many other official buildings...
My former primary school is now a town house complex. I can't help passing it without feeling some sadness, even if the old building was draughty and an earthquake risk.
This building looks turn of the century (20th). It reminds me of some offices attached to factories and industrial mill complexes. I like that it is being so well utilized and is architecturally distinctive.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Looks good in the snow. We would go to City Hall for that. And that building looks like this.
What a lovely, snowy photo of your town hall. Our City Hall is rather 1970s looking - not so interesting.

This is a nice scene and would be a nice place to visit.
What a neat looking school. I am glad it is still used for something.
Stanwood's first large high school is now the Senior Center. MB
They don't look anything like that, I can assure you.

Well, our town offices, i.e. City Hall, looks nothing like this in either winter or summer. But, you knew that!
It doth appear that the city "fathers and mothers" need to start a fire under the people who shovel walks...
I'd go up those steps to pay a bill and end up with an even bigger bill from the Brattleboro Community Hospital.
Here's a link to the Ocala City Hall:

Beautiful! Our city offices are in a squat modern building, alas. I'm sure there used to be a beautiful old one...

This is so lovely, just like a Christmas card! Very different from our offices, to start with the lack of snow, as you can see on my today post. :-)
Our City Hall has been rebuilt several times, even after the last war, but the look is still 17th Century with turret and bell. And no snow...

Don't make me talk about where I pay anything. Your town is just gorgeous. My goodness!
