if apricots can grow in heady profusion on green street

then good things are possible all over the world
what is one good thing that has happened to you in the last 24 hours?

Coming back from my holidays, I came here to visit your blog and , like ever, found an enchanted place where to stop...

... woke up to a refreshing shower. After all the heat, that's nice. Now? Gotta find me some juicy fruit.

Girl,
Just the point : yesterday I bought a
plush little cow to myself and I'm soooo enchanted by her, she is mottled brown and peach-colored light, made in France so I'm calling her "Marie"! :)
Happy Happy Happy!
Now I have my own "little plush cow"!

Now that's another fruit I have yet to see and eat fresh!

Our power went back on at 3pm after a 16-hour blackout because of typhoon Conson.

I got to take photos yesterday at a luncheon organized for a great cause.

Gorgeous apricots!

Waking up and realizing it's Wednesday is enough to make me happy!

Beautiful apricots.

Met up with a friend and we sat by the waterfront and watched the birds, boaters and then the sinking sun. Glorious!

I LOVE apricots!

Oh so lyrical, and the lighting is AMAZING! What made my day yesterday: going for a walk and getting raspberry honey and wildflower honey from one neighbor, and peas, chard, and a bouquet of flowers from another neighbor. I love the bounties of summertime!

Had a nice quiet lunch with my husband who is on vacation and then went to a movie with my family. Lovely summer pastimes.

Apricot pie. I think I just got a recipe for that. Your photo is very nice. I wish I had a taste.

Do you have a homemade recipe you would share with our readers? No, you don't have to be fat to share them.

I had my first relatively good night sleep in 2 weeks, and I saw your photo. Great day. Think I'll have an apricot now

Lovely post, Brattcat. You are so funny: dead man standing, a B western!

I made it through 18 holes on the golf course in the blazing heat and the fierce humidity!

Re your comment on Cedar Key: Fish. ;-)

I dunno.

Um, my wife and I had a really great dinner for her birthday last night. But on the other hand I'm having an RA flare. Yin and yang.

I'm sorry I missed your post yesterday but will respond late. The nicest thing that happened to me yesterday was my son coming over to help me with a project. I posted on it for today. I do enjoy your blog and appreciate your comments.

Every minute in every circumstance is a gift, as this instant of your life shared with us is a gift and thanks for that!

Well, I'm a day late here but so many good things happened in the last 24 hours. I said goodbye to friends who have been staying for two months - much hugging, goodbying and 'we'll be back..ing' went on. Friends are everything, aren't they? What would we be without them - friends we know and hug and friends we don't like you, dear Brattcat, whose words always lift my spirits each day.

One good thing that happened to me today was that I was stumped with a computer problem and my downstairs neighbor was able to help me fix in a matter of minutes. It's such a relief when a scary technical problem turns out not to be so scary after all.

Your pictures are lovely. Like an instant vacation to someplace beautiful. Thank you.
