I have heard of lost dogs and lost cats, but never a lost green wagon.
My guess is that lots of people know what Ashton's green wagon looks like. If someone stole it and plans to use it in Brattleboro, he better watch out. There are lots of people who will i.d. the wagon and nail him.
Is there a market for fencing green wagons? I don't think so.
That reminds me. My parents had a burglar who snuck into their motel room in Las Vegas (I know, how naive were they to get some fresh air by sleeping with a ground floor sliding glass door cracked open at night -- in Vegas!). The burglars stole my dad's brief case. Fortunately, the did not take the briefcase that had al of the work that he had done for the week.
The made off with a briefcase that contained a copy of Ross Perot's book and a compilation of California community association laws. I bet that woudl be even tougher to fence than Ashton's green wagon.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

So small town America. If he like most little boys, he probably forgot it at a friend's house or left it somewhere. Ashton, it'll show up sometime...
Let's organize a bake sale.
I'm hoping for a happy ending.
Who would take a kid's wagon? That's not nice. Your b&w photo makes the situation seem even more poignant!
We only see this for missing pets...
I hope he'll get his wagon back!
so sad. this is an unusual lost item and so previous that they would put a sign up about it
I have heard of lost or stolen bikes, but not wagons. What has our world come to? I hope the wagon is home soon.
ouch! But they clipped the poor tree bark!
Hope they find the wagon as soon as possible.
Yours is a purrfect adaptation of the 'so much depends upon' poem. And. . .
So much depends
a little green wagon
returning
to
its
sunlit home.
OK so if it doesn't turn up, can we all chip in a few dollars and get that boy a new one?

I had a red wagon. Traditions can change so much over the years.
Poor Ashton and the wagon too.
Hey, did they check at the Teddy Bear's picnic? I bet it finds it's way home. MB
Very cool find! Hope Ashtons gets his wagon back.
I think that there's a poem hidden in here somewhere!
Maybe it's with the red wheel barrow.
I hope Ashton wagon finds its way home.
