Funny commentary. I've seen a lot of turkeys and I've worked with a lot of turkeys. Hell, I've got a lot of turkeys in my family! But I've never seen as beautiful a turkey as this one! Is this a special breed of Vermont turkey?
By the way, we got Haley on Prednizone and she's much better already today! Yeah!
I've been missing your daily photos and seeing all the blogs. This is one strutting dude! PS. I'm in Santa Fe without a computer, and I'm having photo-withdrawal. Visiting the library is great for books but waiting for a computer to use is a huge pain!
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

He feels proud of his roots
in an air of dignity.
Beautiful picture!
Working out and keeping in shape for November, I guess. Wonderful colors.
Also overheard: "Better than being a ham." Nice capture.
You handle the bird, I'll make the cranberry sauce.
Despite what they say in the barnyard, he's quite handsome.
☼ Sunny
Lots of T&L storms the past couple of nights and no power. Today looks promising.
Heehee.
And I have yet to see one in person!
Ha! He's quite the attractive fellow though.
No matter what you heard he is just a show off and what goes on in the barnysrd stays in the barnysrd. MB

Hee-hee! Tough to keep a secret like that. What a fine specimen. Not as majestic as an eagle, but a true American.
Such DIVINE 'slice of life' photos this week Brattcat! The wet cows are my favorite. So dreamy......... Ah, summer.
He certainly is...maybe a trip to the "feather dresser" might help!
All of them are jealous in the yard! That's surely the local hero!
Wow! Wonderful moment for photo....
I hear the clock ticking. Not many months till November!
"No, I'm just a chicken", he says, thinking of Thanksgiving.

He is indeed a real turkey...I wonder who let the secret out. Probably the geese. Everyone knows how they like to gossip. :)
You know, turkeys are pretty ugly. I've heard they're stupid, too. But what would I know? I'm a city boy.
This is a royal turkey!
Turkeys are such amazing creatures. Why do we have to eat them? Well I don't!
Now that's a gorgeous bird that makes me feel rather 'unconfortable' when I think of Christmas...
Nice profile! This post is very Jacobesque.
