Thank you for your birthday wishes. I responded to your question about my birthday by reporting that my mother-in-law, whose job was to bring a blueberry pie to the gathering, arrived empty-handed, leaving the pie at her house.
I guess that was her way of demonstrating to me that I am getting older, by showing how forgetful she can be.

I LOVE your first picture!
the baby only needs some little waves to rock him...
Like the way as each shot is characterized by its own dominant tone.
hahahahaha! SO funny! No Wake the child in the vest. You so punny!
Another summer relaxation shot.
Hoho. Clever brattcat!
Gorgeous! I love how the water in every photo is a different color! Beautiful tones :-)
This is a clever little series! That child is making the most of a smooth ride.
No wake zone--let sleeping children be---too clever. MB
And my word verification i s babbee--lol
Very clever.

Very clever spotting, Mrs. BC. Shhh! Don't wake the baby. I like Malyss's take on Rock a bye baby.
Wake being an island, they probably mean it is somewhere else, not in this lake. Wake. Bake cake. Sake. Make.
Will have nap now.
I too love the first photo and the humor of the last...great job!
Oh please, no engine noise...
Fun post. Terrific 'no wake' capture.
Just look at that still water before the arrival of humans! Wonderful post, Brattcat!
I like the sequence, but the first shot is my favorite.
I like the way your mind works...and your photographic eye. Great series and very witty!
Sweet! Looks like the family had a lot of fun. But it was a bit much for the little boy. :)
Lovely sequence. What a great way to fall asleep.
I think that I like the "no wake" photos best.
Interesting!
I like the upside-down version of the sign better. Makes you think.
Thanks for the giggle.
