The layered look in paintings and photos of hills and mountains always has a soothing tone to it. Are these hills filled with the sound of music, too?

Something about the layering of hills/mountains, those graceful lines, the foliage lush in the green, green summer: ahhhhh.

Kate's comment about whether these hills are filled with the sound of music is quite apt, as I believe that the Von Trapp family owns and inn in Vermont and still sings.

It's as if your picture came first and then the slogan. :)

Not to mention the incredible fall colours! When I think of Vermont I immediatly 'see' the reds and the goldens.

I thought Vermont was named for the Green Mountain Men!

'Tis a beautiful sight, whatever!

It looks beautiful and so - green. I like the misty haze of the mountains in the distance.
