what a beautiful building material the land provides

thank you all for your cloud comments yesterday.

What a beautiful fairy-tale house! First I thought at Haensel and Gretel, but then I noticed its startling similarity to a nice but rather absent-minded old woman whose eyes and mouth went upside down...
Anyway a thorough sense of unity of all elements in the picture: house, plants, landscape, sky... really like a little, whole, fabulous world.

The patience it must take to make a stone house! This one is very attractive.

Those who lay bricks or stones have their day when the job is done and from then on their work is admired by all those passing by.

How long must it take for each individual stone to find its own home as part of something spectacular?

Love stone houses. We have some kind of limestone facade on our house and a fireplace of native stone that covers a whole wall - my favorite place in the house!

Beautiful shot, Brattcat; it shows off the wonder of rock perfectly!

I love the textures in this photo - stone wall, feathery evergreens, the trees and shrubs.
