Wow! We post at the same time. Are you up too, or on autopilot???

This house looks like great inspiration for a movie or novel!

Are you sure that Alfred Hitchcock or Tony Perkins are not going to appear at one of the windows?

This house is really a dream!

The tree must be shy and remained off camera.

Those shadows look just a little bit Halloweenish, a little spooky although the house is very beautiful.

Such a pretty house, in a beautiful spot. The tree shadows are a really neat effect. I wonder about the house's story - do you think it's haunted?

A lovely house. I wonder if it's ticklish?

Ahh nice - I am fascinated by the shadows of the winter trees on the ornate old houses here, too, but your photo and poem captures it very well.

Even with sun and shadows and colors, I can't help thinking about Psycho, from Alfred Hitchcock!

Very interesting shot. It's a beautiful house and full of interest, but the tree shadow makes it absolutely spooky...well, not really, but it reminds me of a Disney movie where you have a haunted house but you know it's more or less benign...

I love this type of roof and door detail. I'm sure it has a name, and the part in the eaves has counterparts here. Above and beyond that, this is a fantastic photo with the shadows. Scary, actually!

Wonderful capture of this handsome home. I like the red brick foundation . . .

I really like this kind of 'Psycho' house and the shadows look just great on the wooden walls.

Wonderful architecture and picture, perfect hour and composition, I would love to try at least 10 shots around this house! Have a great weekend.

Those fingers of shade make this lovely old house look kind of ghostly.

You love the light just as much as I do!
