They have a Tim Burtonesque feel to them, perfect installations for Halloween. Magnolia Gardens is pretty. I used to work there when we first moved to SC. Hurricane Hugo destroyed many of the oldest trees. But the gardens have recovered nicely. Middleton Place is also worth a visit. I'll have to post some pictures from there too.
It's like a scene out 'War of the Worlds' or 'Arachnophobia' Brattcat, you would definitely see some 'action' if they were real..Such a great fun image!
This is like my worst nightmare! When the spiders grow this big, I'm outta here. Therese is right, they do look like the 'big bugs' currently invading the Desert Botanical Garden.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

They remind me of David Roger's big bugs!

lovely captures!
Hee, that is so cool! I like freaking out friends with rubber insects and snakes. :D
Thank you for the welcome back.
Run!
The action shot in my imagination is the people running away and screaming from this relentless march of the giant spiders.
What a hoot!

I am not sure to like these, but it is a spectacular idea and a couple of great photos.
Oh no! I hope they were not IN ACTION! or you would have seen ME run away VERY fast!! brrr!
That's a very long way, from Hollywood to Florida! Which bad 50es horror movie did they escape from?
Very funny. We had one of these things at our Fall Festival...creepy crawlies!
Great fun!
OK...this one is the funniest of the TD lot! The question is is the Bratcat family afraid of the giant black spiders?
Ewwwwwwww. Creepy.
At first look I wondered if it was Louise Bourgeois' work but no, too simple.I'd rather walk through this field during the day than at night, though.
Great set of sculptures, something from a science-fiction film?
I'd like to have a few of these for my lawn. Not much action there, tho!
Well that's a great interpretation BC. Love it.

I like your eye!
