I hope the reason is not to get away from the wolf or foxes on their side of the road.
On my drive home from work last evening, I called my mother in law and Glenda brought up how pleased she was to see your photo yesterday of the delightful dog. You brightened her day.
Maybe they think the sheep have a more interesting food supply, I just hope they cross over quickly before a random car comes speeding by and they never find out!!
The chickens are going to attend a gig! :) *** referring it because when I was a kid living in a farm , I used to sing for the chickens! :) Today I sing to little Luna! :) I think she likes it! hugs Léia

"Good Grief! Here come those stupid chickens again."
I like the roads which are more popular among chickens, not autos..
It is as plausible a reason as any I've ever heard. After all, chickens are quite sociable.
But which came first??? The chickens or the lambs??
These chickens seem very intent on crossing... glad that the road seems quiet at the moment.

haha - love these road-crossers and hope they enjoy their visit.
The sheep appear to be looking for some company.
To get to the other side- to visit the sheep?:)
Nothing better than a sociable chicken:)
That was baaaaaaaaaad! :)

I once heard someone say, 'I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without anyone questioning their motives'. Ha!
Have a great day.

Grass is always greener on the other side of the road!

You're great, brattcat. Today's post sounds like one I would do.
And the lamb named Scrooge, said "Baa, humbug!"
Nah, chickens aren't that pragmatic. It more the Sartre-ish meaningless of existance where getting to the other side has to be good enough.
Glad they made it before getting squashed.
