My reaction is the same as Kate's and Lowell's about not being able to tell a cat anything, except I used to be able to whistle to summon Julie's late cat to the refrigerator where I kept the insulin when it was time for her twice daily injections, and the cat would saunter in for its shot.
Notice that I said it was Julie's cat. I never considered it part mine, even though we shared the same house for years.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Bises,

I don't think that you can tell a cat ANYTHING! They are so independent, in an interesting way.]
Catching up...too tired to blog while on our drive with our dog which is taking longer than planned! We're almost in Santa Fe...)
this is so cute!
That's funny :^) Cats sure have a mind of their own, which they like to share from time to time.
'Cats walk thin... sleep fat'
Heh, heh. You can't tell an old cat anything. They all think they're gods and goddesses.
Re your comment on Ocala DP: You can tell her photographic status by her stance. She's holding the camera like she's afraid it's going to bite her!
Just kidding!

Ah, yes, she does look like queen of her scene.
Oh she's a beauty Brattcat, I think that's one of the things that is so appealing about cats, they won't be told!!
Hello Nicole, you're a beauty!
It's very hard to tell and old cat to do anything they don't want to do. This is such a pretty photo of an elegant feline.
Nicole is beautiful!
That is a gorgeous cat. So, there are two gorgeous cats in your house, brattcat?
Just love this. Made me smile!
ahhh, so cozy
And I think Nicole and Meeps are kindred spirits.

Nicole looks a bit overstuffed herself. I'm concerned about her attitude, too.
A lot of french girls were called Nicole in the 60ies...They don't like to be told anything as well! :o)
She is a BEAUTY
and so so sweet :-)
I knitting myself a V neck sweater right now. What are you knitting?
Happy New Year, Brattcat!
Nicole chooses great company.
My old cats drag stuffed toys around the house, which beats bringing me mangled lizard as a show of expertise!
I love cats. They are aliens, I know.
