Thanks for these poetic words this morning... a near perfect blend for this splash of red.
And it is still standing. I pass by a similar shed almost every week. But that shed is slowly falling apart.

This looks like in winter maybe it could be one of those syrup shacks that you have shown in the past.
It's unlikely to be used for boiling sap, Dave, because there is no vent for the steam to escape. But I love that you remember the sugar houses.

That spot of red really makes the photo come alive.
At first I thought our adorable little red shed was falling down, but non. Just a quirky little angle. I lurv it.

I can't decide whether it's leaning, about to fall apart, or the wall really was made slanting. Whatever, its red looks so charming against all the beautiful greenery.
