sometimes what we get
whether we like it or not

Impressive words!
I think we just got what we real need. It's all about our choices, if not now, many time ago( so many time ago). And it's the reason that several times we can not remember it for sure, but it was true, a learning! :)
Perfect shot!

I'd give anything for a sugar coating like yours right now. We have nothing but waterfalls coming down from a grey sky.

Are you sure someone didn't cover everything in powered sugar?!

Sugar coating for sure. It is so beautiful even if it is no fun----anymore.
Another postcard picture. MB

I feel solitude and silence when I look at the scene with the two empty benches. Yesterday's and today's are perfect images for the wonders of winter.

This photo and yesterdays are fantastic. Nature's artistic talent is enhanced by your photographic eye.

This photo does leave one in a more tranquil mood.

The black branches and trunks contrasted with the snow is stunning.

I imagine your sweet tooth is getting a little tired of all that sugar! It is so lovely, though... for those of us not living with it. Thank you for sharing!

I don't think there is anything prettier in winter than snow covered trees...really lovely.

Your photos the last two days are striking. Do you remember some years ago when we could buy the spray cans of fluffy artificial snow which stuck to Christmas trees and window sills? It was called Flocking or something like that. Your scenes look like someone has run amuck with cans of Flocking.

Every day, I come here. And I think: " today , she COULD not do better than yesterday."
BUT every day I'm wrong.. Every day, your pictures charm me , surprise me,make me dream , make me feel good..
Today, those benches, under snow, among the trees..(..happy sigh..)
The only thing I feel like to say is "THANK YOU"!!

You have captured these pristine scenes beautifully. What's left of our snow is not so pristine so thanks for sharing yours.

To answer your question posed at QDP: the conference was the ALA in Boston last weekend.

Looks like around here. And thanks for the movie selections. They are added to the List.

Quite the classic view of New England winter. Makes me think of the Robert Frost poem. We have heavy fog. No more snow.

Oh, stop it! I can't take all this beauty any more. Breathtaking!

My eye was caught by the bench, but everything is magic in this picture.
