At first I thought they were Christmas tree ornaments...duhh! Really yummy looking tomatoes. Sunny :) P.S. The ice fishing picture was late in the day.
Delicious, I love tomatoes and just today a did a great salad here! Hugs :) Léia Hmmm I would love to know how to prepare a "sauce for spaghetti"using tomatoes!
Well... I think I'd rather not know how they do it thanks! I try to avoid unseasonal fruit & veg these days, yet I would love to taste them with a little basil and olive oil!
Also known as a love apple....must be some place in Massachusetts that's in the Gulf Stream. Just like there is a place in Ireland that palm trees can grow in. What Kate said;" bring it on".
Well captured. It is amazing to get such great local tomatoes in January. I wonder if they are grown in UMass greenhouses in the western part of the state.

These tomatoes do indeed look deliciously ripe. A winter miracle of the hot house.
Succulent is exactly the right word. Shades of summer; bring it on!!

They look a lot better than anything you'll find in Florida! I'm assuming that you've tasted them ... describing them as succulent...

Succulent is actually a very old french name for tomatoes. Excellent picture!

Greenhouses? They look ripe and delicious.
You're waxing poetic BC. Do you have cabin fever??
Are you have summer sandwiches - big slices of tomato with mayo and lettuce, maybe even bacon?
...in January it's hard to find tomatoes this nice even here in Italy (I can only speak about looks, obviously).
