leaping onto a snowbank with glee.

What a beautiful farm picture.
So the thaw has started, eh? Love the sunshine and blue sky at least. MB

Hurray for the bookstore owner for sticking to her beliefs. It is nice to do the City Daily Photo circuit and get a little news!!!!

I love barn and farm photos! Maybe because I grew up in Wisconsin, "America's Dairyland!"

Another of your striking compositions - great lines and colors, Brattcat! Looks like a beautiful, working farm. Reminds me a tad of Minnesota...

Have a wonderful day!

By the way, you can ignore the comment by Safe Leif: He never grew up! Heh, heh!

Such a great composition, but I am not knowledgeable enough to explain why. . .something about the juxtaposition of sharp angles with soft arcs. . .

Great colors, light, shade, and composition. I guess the barn is gray so the red silo wold stand out more.

Not bad, BC, not bad at all!

Great clash of geometry, very eye-pleasing palette, stunning light ...

And then we come to the topical vignette of verse which ties it all up superbly.

Bravo!

My favourite: American farms. Even better with the snow and the sound of the melting snow!

The red jumped out at me. Nice bold, chunky, solid blocks of colour against that liquid light.
