Götterdämmerung, even though I don't particularly like Wagner. Welcome back!

Thanks, everyone.
Jacob, I went out walking yesterday afternoon but didn't take a single shot. It's soooo cold. How I miss your gentle temperatures and generous people.

That shot is so beautiful. Frame-able. Aclimate slowly--no frozen fingers Please. MB

The lights do remind me of search lights that used to illuminate my bedroom as they went round and round and round. This was during WWII.

This looks like search lights from the heavens. What were they search for?

I thought they were real searchlights! Gorgeous sunset, I have to keep in mind that Tampa is on the other side of Florida...

wow, very dramatic sky. great capture. and, in answer to your question, i took the photo on my site today outside at dusk. no glass in between me and the unusual sky, hill, and crosses. very odd lighting that night. I did use my tripod. We are glad you enjoyed the Croatia and Dalmation Coast photos on our travel site. it was a very unique place.

I think you're a seriously blessed photographer.

And I sing the praises of parchment paper to the skies. Maybe this is a choir of angels in reply?

This is one amazing sky! I'm so glad you captured it to share with all of us.

Doing the snowbird thing, or just returned? I suppose the skies are more gray up north. we're going for a warm-up in a bit over a week.

Incredible shot, what are they looking? Or is just an opening night of some kind?

I did. I did. But as we all know "Be prepared" is sometimes lost in the shuffle. Social engagements sometimes get in the way of great photography.

Our skies and especially our sunsets can just look so unbelievable that I'm sure people think we manipulate them. Nope. As you know, we don't have to PhotoShop to get spectacular shots.

This one is perfect!!

BTW - Thank you for all your nice comments on my posts. Much appreciated.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit. Keep dreaming of Florida. It does get into your heart and soul.
