Beautiful scene. I like the flags or banners.

Thanks for your visit to my Pick a Peck of Pixels Blog and for your comment there about the squirrel with one ear stuck flat down on its head. She is sitting in the snow eating a peanut. Pick a Peck of Pixels

I'm jealous! Cotton sweaters? Yikes!

This is a great shot...I can feel the clear, cool air. Love the lights, too, and that sky!

Well done, Brattcat!

You made the word "sweater" sound like a dream to my ears..At 11 p.m. it's still around 29°...Ü

I'm not ready yet for the cool down, Malyss. It seems as if summer has only just begun. But this morning I had to put on a long sleeve t-shirt, and a hoodie, and a jacket over that and still my nose and my toes were cold.

Perfectly captured moment and feeling! I have to admit I love the fall and am always so excited to pull out my sweaters.

Some evening haiku here? Please that WORD... sweater scares me. Can autumn be that close? We've had a HOT end of August here. Keep on keeping on????

Here, past midnight
heath isn't gone,
a cotton shirt
still much to bear...

Lovely night out, and nice photo of the flags. Very peaceful. Is it getting chilly already? I can't believe it's almost September! The weather has been so weird here, we're in a heatwave in parts of Orgegon that we should have had in late July and early August.

I like the lights against the sky. This is the time of year that you don't know what to wear, one minute it's 80 and 60 the next! Good old New England.
