This looks like a charming place, but surely that window on the top floor is a remodel of what I presume used to be the attic.
Brattcat, your insightful comments on my site are always appreciated. If I answered your question today, however, you would rob me of some of the material that I have already planned to discuss in my posts during the next few days. I hope you will indulge me in awaiting my discussion in my future posts regarding the pros and cons of large scale resort development in Costa Rica.
Actually, VP, I've never eaten there. But it has a fantastic reputation. As for photographs, you could spend an entire day in the village of Newfane and never run out of images to capture.
Dave, I can't find a photo of the Inn without those windows on the top floor. Perhaps you're right about a remodel but I can't prove it one way or the other. Jacob, it's expensive. I don't think the waiting list is too long, particularly in this economy, but I could be wrong about that. I had to go to Newfane yesterday and snapped some shots while there but nothing like a tour of the place. Perhaps I'll wait until fall and do a Newfane series.
"New England" is the kind of name that makes me dream.. I wonder what's behind this large window . The place seems to be quiet and welcoming, a little out of time; Or maybe it's just the way YOU show it?..
I'll bear that in mind then! ;-)I can see why the outside would be award winning so I checked their website. Wow wowowow! My kind of place totally (when I've saved enough for a treat!)
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Newfane is such a lovely area. We always enjoy visiting just over the border!
Sunny :)
Looks like a very nice place to stay, eat and perfect jumping off point to then wander the delightful countryside.
Looks like the perfect place to stay, quiet and lovely. I trust you about the food and surely would take lots of photographs around.

Yes, but is it expensive? How long is the waiting list? Will Brattcat take us on a tour of town?
So many questions!
But, a lovely shot of a lovely house!
