Night view from a train

Each window of this train station
(I think New Haven, Ct. but please correct me if I'm wrong)
glowed with topaz light.
Happy Theme Day everyone.
And THANK YOU for your comments.
Your words are so welcome and dear to me.

Wow. What an impression that leaves. It does look as dark as night and I have walked through train stations that dark before. Especially in Japan.

Thanks for the visit to my Pick a Peck of Pixels blog.

I slept under a blanket last night. This has been the coldest July ever recorded here in Ohio where we live. And it was only 59 F here this morning. August is starting out to be more of the same. I fear a climate change is on the way and each year will disrupt the lives of more birds and butterflies to say nothing about the polar bears.

How fabulous! Truly beautiful photograph for today's Theme. So often railway stations can be beautiful and goodness this one is. Topaz light - exactly! Well done. I like this so very much.

Usually railway stations and night don't go together well. The topaz light does the magic and we have a Renaissance palace instead of a dreary station.

You took that from a train? It's a superb night shot. Love the colors!

That is a great shot under any circumstances, but from a train it is even more spectacular.

Thank you for your comment about my total solar eclipse photo today, and for your comments during the last few weeks when I have been unable to answer because we were away on a ship in the South Pacific to go to the area from which to view the eclipse.

I have enjoyed catching up with your photos posted during my absence. Maybe the sidewalk poet will one day type some immortal lines about a solar eclipse.

One of my favorite Night Theme photos. Especially, the warm amber glow

This epitomises the warmth of the home hearth. To have it emanate from a railway waiting room is remarkable.

Good capture for a difficult theme ...

Your previous posts have been so people oriented, it is fun to contrast this static picture of a window. Kind of like, at the end of the night, all are sleeping, and nothing remains but the warm light beyond the window.

If you did not say it was a train station, it could as well had been a castel..
To catch a glimpse on lifes along the railways, while the train is running through the night..What a food for imagination..
