Um, maybe for you, living in a peaceful part of the world. We native New Yorkers never slow down. There's something to be said for both of these poles.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Time has indeed slowed down. It looks like they have Christmas icicle lights hanging in the window. Maybe it is a year-round decorative touch.
I need to find a place like this, some local in the breakdown lane.
It reminds me of a scene from a Currier and Ives work. Wonderful throwback image reminding us of another era.
Ah, slow time, shhh, it's quieter here . . .
There should be more places like this that make time slow down I think Brattcat, we all move along at far too fast a pace!
The lovely slim pine tree complements the other greenery in the photo.
what a great little shop!
Beautiful shop!
I does look like a place to shake off all the hustle of city life.
Green and cream. Very common colours once upon a childhood time.
Are there any leprechauns around?...
Almost Christmas.
I think this shop defines the "slow lane." They even have their 1997 Christmas decorations hanging. Come to think of it, so do I.
I like slow.
Time, in this case, is either slowing down or speeding up. They must have forgotten to take down the Xmas stuff or they're already putting it on sale.
Either way, it doth appear to be a nice place to let the wearies wash away...

I like that tree and it's a place with happy ambiance for sure!
