Yes, the scene looks hot and hazy, with everyone scattered to their air conditioners, except the lonely pooch. Poor little guy. Hope he gets some water. As a matter of fact, I'm feeling like I need a glass of water too :^)
This photo reminds me that I'm in "big trouble" :-) My wife promised our daughter she could get a dog only if she got at least 9/10 (an American B+, I guess) on her grade 8 final exam... Mission impossible? Never underestimate the will of young girls! SHE GOT 9/10!!! I'm very happy for the grade, but now I'm in dire straits: I like dogs, but not around my downtown house with a small garden... Today she is going to the dogpound to see what she can find... This will be a never ending story!
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Hopefully it didn't melt too.
Love the vintage look of this striking shot!
It could be a mad dog, owned by an Englishman. Well it's out in the midday sun.
Oh you can almost see the heat haze Brattcat, what a cute little dog!
The little pup looks like he's wondering what he's doing out there in the heat.
There is a french expression, un temps a ne pas mettre un chien dehors, a weather where you don't put a dog outside. Guess he doesn't know it.
And a loyal watchdog it is! Love Rob and Mandy's adage since it seems to fit the heat-hazy photo.

It's really that warm? In other words, this is a hot dog?
Cute, though!
The patient pup awaits his playmates.

Um, where is the water? A little help here?
Babe alone in Babylone..
And a good girl she is. I hope she stays cool. MB
The picture is so quiet: soft tones, stillness, static right angles. Just right for the weather.
He looks alert and calm, great catch!
I hope he de doesn't vaporize...

P.S. It must be really hot in the USA if they are talking about it on the news here in Italy!
By the way: here in hot, sunny Italy, yesterday, it was 66F...
It should be at leat 90F at this time of year.
Poor little dog!
