Last year we lost our tomatoes to a blight this year we have tons and they won't ripen. Someone said to wrap them in newspaper but all that did was put headlines on them! Let us know if you find anything that works :) ☼ Sunny
Last year some 'spontaneous' cherry tomatoes have shown on a big pot with Aloe vera. I thought they would never turn red, but then it happened almost from one day to the other.

I'm thinking fried green tomatoes!
Darn! Ripen 'em on the windowsill.
I had some I never thought would ripen.
Slow learners . . .? Reluctant to leave home?
Fried green tomatoes?
I thought fried green tomatoes too! This would be delicious.
yummy! ^^
Next year: green beans.
Pick 'em and let 'em ripen in the window.
Besides I love tomatoes, I think I couldn't eat them because they are sooo beautiful in green!

I planted some but none of them came this year.. Are they trying to say something to us?..
I think you should be patient for a little longer.

I have never had tomatoes refuse to ripen, this is an interesting puzzle.
We do a very nice green tomato jam in France! A lot of sugar, some lemon rind... Delicious!
Green tomato pickles? Mum used to put green tomatoes in a dark cupboard for them to ripen.

We've had the same problem-- our tomatoes rot before they ripen. Who knows?
I'm with Sharon. Get out that cornmeal and fry you up a mess of fried green tomatoes. I'll be there for lunch!
I also vote for fried green tomatoes, but that green tomato jam sounded interesting.

But fried green tomatoes are a Southern thing. You should consult Virginia on this.
