Malyss, when i'm heading to this part of town i find it easier going downhill (away from home) along a more conventional route; it's going uphill (on my way back home) from that part of town that really steals the breath from my lungs and the spring from my legs.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

What a nice walk they make. ps. I'm breathing heaving just looking at these steps.
I like your walk home, looks so peaceful.
Very nice, but you have to get out more often.
A nice way to go home..You never use it to go away?...
Looks like someone is keeping the vines and weeds away! It sure makes a beautiful walkway.

This is such a pleasant photo! It makes me want to follow that path.
A lovely way home. MB
Hmm! This climb isn't exactly a piece-a-cake...wonder what the other one looks like.
That's my kind of path home. Looks very serene.
This picture really draws you in and makes you want to see what is around the corner.

Oh my. This reminds me a LOT of a path through the grounds of a Shinto shrine and inn on Mt. Haguro, Japan. Tranquil places.
I'm trying to imagine this lovely path in the winter, when you're all bundled up and coming home to a roaring fire and a cuppa hot chocolate!
Another proof of beauty of Vermont.
I'm so glad you found them and shared a photo with us. Don't want no heart banging going on. :)
Would love to have a shortcut like this here!
That's a beautiful short cut! I would definitely choose this path.
Wonderful place!
