Love this in b & w-- really makes you notice the worn edges of the building. It makes the whole picture look aged. Nicely done. I notice his guitar case isn't open-- he must be playing for pleasure, not cash. And like Sharon, for some reason I thought of the Poem Peddler too!
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

NIce capture. Looks good in b & w. How did he sound?
Doesn't look like anybody but you is on the street. It must be rather hot.
Not much of an audience I m afraid.
Great B&W photograph.

Is he related to the Poem Peddler?
This seems to have been taken in the late 60's or 70's! :-)
Looks a movie scene or a video clip!
Beautiful picture!

so cool!
This is such a timeless photo. It could have been taken 20 or 30 years ago.
Nice shot. He looks like he needs a good feed.
Cheers,

He is probably waiting for his friend to come by and pick him up in a VW microbus painted in pastel colors.
He does look rather lonely. At least he has his music. MB

I hope he didn't get a sunstroke. Was he good?
A musician is never really alone as long as he has his instrument and can play music..And you were there with him, that makes two friends around!
Not sure only the traffic is dazed...
I agree with Sharon...timeless.
And I like Dave's idea of the VW microbus picking him up. :)
The heat must have not only dazed the traffic but knocked it cold...(sorry about that!)...there's no one out and about.
You could come visit Florida where it's a little cooler.
