This is a great post for the theme. Julie and I traveled to Tanzania in February, and the children were adorable. These dolls will be very appreciated.
We brought a suitcase full of supplies to give to a rural school that we knew we would visit. We brought 60 cans of Play Dough, mini Etch-a-Sketches, and reams of colored paper, scissors, glue, etc. We had to show the teachers how to use the scissors and glue, which they readily understood, but with which they were unfamiliar.
Such a special gift and made with love I'm sure. Wonderful colors. This reminds me of a friend who started a church group which knits "Prayer Shawls". While they can be worn to say prayers, the name really comes from all the prayers being said over them while they are being made. These kinds of gifts mean so much more.

those are really cute knit dolls! Who made them? I should get the directions!
And I bet they are much appreciated and loved when they reach those little hands. Beautiful work, Kitty!
How adorable. I wonder if they are hard to knit? What a sweet gift to send those precious children.

Love those dolls, love their traveling . . .
Very cool. And I'm so glad they made it into the right hands in a continent where our stupid policies have made the AIDs crisis worse!
A lot of love awaits these sweet little dolls.
Did you knit them?
