When I was a child I loved family trips to Bear Mountain, up the Hudson from NYC. They had a ski jump, which I found fascinating and terrifying. I can't imagine a mere mortal flying off one of these.
I do not like heights. My feelings run the same as Cezar's...just looking at this makes me wonder about the sanity of those who think ski jumping is fun! :-)

The closer to the ground, the happier I remain.
Just by seeing such a ski jump it gives me a strange feeling in the stomach... :)
