during the storm all sound was muted

if the bell rang in the steeple
 no one heard,
we were all sleep-walking through curtains of gray

If I had a church nearby, its ringing would also be muted. It is snowing here too.

Silence is such a precious but almost non-existent commodity. I'll always remember some nights on the shores of the Dead Sea, with literally no noise at all, nothing, nada. A wonderful experience!

Utterly beautiful BC. I love the hushed awe of a snow such as this.

It is beautiful.

But even more cold weather predicted does not sound good. Stay warm and safe.
