gray new england skies

it's t'aint season in the northeast
t'aint autumn, t'aint winter.
dreary skies, though, don't dampen the joy of being home,
even if i do have to depart again next week.

Welcome home, brattcat. We have snow today in Maine (but not much), so does that mean it's a 'tis season? 'Tis snow, 'tis winter.

It's a bit like that now in spring here in Perth Brattcat, sunshine one day, three or four days of rain the next. I love it. Are you getting tired of living out of a suitcase yet? Hopefully we can get to catch up a bit before you're off again!

Welcome home yet again! Hope you'll get some sunshine before you depart. November has a beauty all its own.

Nice to see that you are back. Even if the skies are grey, there's no place like home!

That is not the most welcoming sky, but on the positive side, you are back in your own bed. Enjoy it before venturing out again.

I feel like Wantastiquet is hiding behind the weathervane.

Hopefully the gray won't keep you from enjoying a little peace and quiet, cause taint nothing like home.

Such a lovely shot, even if the sentiment is bittersweet. Wishing you a beautiful time home and safe travels.
