I have this in my back yard. Great shrub with lots of tiny white flowers running up and down the branches then turning to these small berries. Gives color to the landscape in the winter and then it's food for the birds about March around here as the purple berries turn dark and dry up. Once spring comes I cut it back taking out the thickest limbs all together and the process starts all over.
This is, in my opinion, one of the most important pieces of information for me. And it's a pleasure to read your content. But I'd like to make a few general remarks. The website design is fantastic, and the content is superb. Gmail Bellen

NI can't seem to take my eyes off purple. It's always been a thing with me. High school colors--- purple and gold.
Also my favorite color to be wraped in..
Bootiful pic and poem!
So pretty! And it's real? I've never seen this before.

Where do you get all that burple this time of year? Your photo is as lyrical as your commentary!
Gee that is pretty, brattcat. I can't identify the plants.
Berries? I'm no naturalist. You suggest that soon the area will be fast asleep under white blankets.
A few people asked about the Marylin Monroe figure in my Thursday post. There's a responce in my Friday post that goes up at 00.01 my time.
Would be so pretty on a table cloth!
The purple berries remind me of beautyberry bushes, and the birds who like to feast on them... like pterodactyls and such.
Lovely shades of purple appeal to so many of our visual senses.
Beautiful colours...
They sure would me!
How beautiful! It's such a great touch of colour.
This is delightful!
