bridgework in brattleboro

been over a year since irene
and we're still picking up the pieces.
but we're definitely making progress.
our thoughts go to all of those in the early stages of recovering from sandy.

Each of these storms leaves such a wake of wreckage, such a long trail of recovery . . . thanks for the reminder of all the work it takes to repair and restore.

It takes such a long time to recover from such a disaster, I do think a lot about the folk who have lost everything, I can't even begin to imagine.
Thanks for the good wishes Brattcat, I've been having such a run of bad headaches it's starting to get me down a little.

Such wide spread harm takes decades to erase, as was the case in Charleston after Hugo.

Vermont sure got slammed last year. I drove through the state in late August and was pleased to see what good shape most of the state was in. Vermonters are tough birds.
