The USA is replete with far too many 'significant' days as the year draws to a close. Nice looking hen house here, BC ... local I assume ... the nomenclature for 'hens' is all a mess ... hens, chickens, roosters, chicks ... but you do not seem to have our 'chooks' ... hens seem to become 'chickens' the instant they are plucked and trussed ...
Take my word Brattcat, the puddings were delish..Aimee really has the bakers' touch, mind you I did have to have three just to be sure haha! Hope all is well with you and your family, are you still traveling?

Sshh! We won't tell the turkeys so that they can have a good week-end, too. Wonder what they eat for their final meal?
Travel safely, brattcat. Glad you'll be back for T-giving. xx
That word (coop) always reminds me of the Harvard Coop. Loved that place! There were always plenty of 'hens' around too.
Cluck Cluck and have fun!

Wherever you're going, Thanksgiving is near. Just remember the old saying: It's hard to soar like an eagle if you hang around with a bunch of turkeys.
Enjoy!
this picture reminds me the farm where I grew up in France!
Love this scene of chickens... hope that you travel safely. Oskar sends his best!

Have a safe trip, brattcat. I originally had a typo and wished you a sage trip. Have one of those, too.

Go in peace and safety, and may the stuffing be with you.
