how i spent my new year weekend - 6

i took a path i thought would lead to the road.
instead i found myself in the middle of an unfamiliar cornfield.
i was lost with not even kernels of corn to lead me home.
and the light was beginning to fade.

Oh oh. Time for a GPS gizmo. It might solve your immediate problem but make the beauty of the moment vanish.

. . .and then? . . .and then? The plot thickens . . .

I looks like some pesky squirrel got to the corn before you could use it.

Well, I know from today's photo and the fact that you are posting that this detour through the cornfield has a happy ending.

I know what Julie would do if she got lost. She would call me on her cell phone and ask directions. She does that a lot. It's a blond thing.

I hope you were far away from Sleepy Hollow..

Did the corn taste all right? Looks like you couldn't finish that ear, though.

I'm sure that you used your super sensitive powers of magical cohesion to deduce the transepts of latitude and longitude and thereby devise a trail to your dwelling place.

But the real question remains: What the heck were you doing out there anyway?

Lovely colours here, BC. Are you still on manual/ With your posts, it is not the quality of the image, but its content and the text you surround it with. But you know that ...

Well I'm a little behind with my blog checking, but I can see from the fact that there is an absolutely stunning image after this one, that not only did you make it home, but that you were totally inspired!!
