Bonjour!!! This picture is beautiful and I love the mysterious feeling that a morning with fog and mist brings...Indeed, I love the SUN after the mist morning :) Wonderful capture, thanks for sharing! Léia
Nature, I suppose, needs to rest and gear up for the new year too! Lovely view, and I personally enjoy fog. Comes from living on Lake Michigan as a kid.

I like when the sun parts the fog, and there is that mix of smoke and brilliant light. Your image illustrates this wonderfully.
Say what you will against the fog, I just love the stuff. It pulls a veil over a lot of ugliness and imbues everything with a gentle charm
I've enjoyed your New Year travelogue this week. Keep 'em coming. hahaha
A new year always tires out the sun...I mean it's been shining out there for millions of years!
I love mist and fog. Some people say that's where my mind resides.
Re your question on Ocala DP: Yes!
Have a wonderful weekend.
This is a pretty shot with the fog giving in to the heat of the sun.
In Arizona one would first assume that a scene like this was due to dust, not fog.
Love the sun glinting off the fence, glad you were there to record this scene Brattcat. Happy weekend.

Fog was only a veil, put to hide the beauty of the day until you were ready to welcome it..
This is wonderful, Brattcat!
I love a good foggy day and the way it reduces the world to your immediate surroundings. The colors in this shot are gorgeous. Happy New Year!

I thought it was smoke at first . . . I like the way the fog is being lured up to the white clouds . . .
Gorgeous! Poetry in motion.
But, from the photo, it looks like the fog was not entirely defeated.Beautiful atmosphere in this one.
My New Year's Day could not have been more different, but only in the landscape and in the weather.
