at the seattle science center

we walked amid the butterflies.
when the time came to leave them
we spun around three times to make certain none had hitched a ride

(welcome new followers happy-hapsi, artedigit, and alexa.
i'm so glad you alighted on my blog.)

This must have been such a treat! I remember such a place - well perhaps not a science centre but a butterfly centre in Kuranda in far north Queensland. So amazing to see such beauties and up close and personal too. Lovely shots.

These are spectacular. Despite living in cold New England, you somehow have developed quite an eye for this.

I'm so happy I found you!
What a gorgeous collection of pictures and sincere words.
The word "Blog" is a terrible misnomer for such a beautiful effort on your part.
You have many talents, I can't wait to see more of your work.

Wow! The colors of the last butterfly on its chosen background is exquisite. What a treat to see. Are you sure one didn't stowaway in your camera bag for Mr. BC's garden?
