unfortunately the gremlin continues to toy with us,
popping its head up from time to time just when we think all is well again.
i will try to visit you all soon.

I don't think Brattcat is watching vigilantly at all, at all. He/she (I know I should know) is far too content spending sleepytime on a stair.

Your cat works just as hard as ours do, I can see.
Must be a Pinkerton cat, protecting your security and always on guard. The design seems to be a pressure-sensitive device - step on it and it will yowl.
Those gremlins can be elusive and tricky. Good luck with the hunt.
