Re your question on Cedar Key: I'm not sure about gators in the back bay...probably. One has to be careful in most Florida waters 'cause they are ubiquitous! This is not a swimming area, though...Cedar Key has one beach...Cedar Key is about clamming and fishing...
I have a problem because early during our family trip to Spain last week and the week before someone tipped a wine glass over on the table and spilled red wine across my keyboard. After my predictable reaction, the left shift key did not work and then after a few sentences the "t" key stopped working. There is a "t" in my password to turn the computer on.
After a few days, the "t" started working again. If the only damage is the left shift key, I am lucky indeed, as if there is one key to break, at least it is the only key on the keyboard that has a duplicate.
The careless oaf who spilled the wine? That would be me.
Oh, I hate when a tech guy says that...At least you had time for a lovely picture and a short message! My own computer is fixed now, but my leg suffers from tendinitis; do you think gremlins could jump from one to the other?..:)
It's a little scary when the tech says something like that. I'd much rather hear them say "oh yes, I know exactly what that is". Hope it gets better soon.
You're back! To err is human but to really screw up you need a computer. The little statue looks like a jizu, a traditional Japanese memorial to a dead child.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

With this shot and your computer issues, YOU need a zen moment in more ways then one.

This is a superb photo! Kinda fun, funky, sad, silly, happy...all at the same time. Oh, I forgot "cold."
Anyone who plays on computers in nuts!

Glad your computer gremlins are in remission.

Beautiful photo!
Maybe your gremlins need to come visit my computer, because I've been spending far too much time on it lately.

Whatever you do, don't go sulk out in the snow.
I am glad you are back.
Sounds like you are hooked to this metal box (or do you have plastic laptop?). Same disease here)).
I guess one of the joys of living in VT is having some white stuff in March.
And thank you very much. It's good to have you back. Be gone you gremlins, says I!

You seem to have lots of company in computer purgatory. I love 'em when they work, but . . .
Well, this is an image definitely worth waiting for. Hopefully your techie is a person who likes challenges...
