on the bus to tacoma dome

we passed safeco field.

eighty minutes later, in olympia, we ate baked potato soup and chocolate cake, sipped coffee and cocoa,
walked along the sound, ate a fabulous meal at the oyster house,

and met henry the bookstore cat.

what a perfect day.
thank you dear, dear jill and don!

Meow. That's cat talk for I'm jealous. What a beautiful area...and Henry's not bad-looking hisself!

Hi again, BC...no, it was not chilly when we went to Chili's! Just rainy.

Our weather has warmed up nicely and everything is green and lovely. We did, however, get a bit of a cold front last evening. I think the temps dipped way down to the low 50s!

Sounds like it was a terrific day. May your week-end be as joyful! Nothing better than a book-lovin' cat!

I am glad you had a nice visit. It is wonderful out this way. Glad you got to go to the Flower Show. Always a fun time there. MB

Wonder what happened to our friends Olympia, Don and Krise? No time for blogging anymore, after their daughter's birth.
Love the mountains on the second shot. And Henry, of course! I must have been a cat in a past life.

Henry must be well read! I visited a shop this last week where there was a resident cat that I had met a couple of times, sadly he is no more but there is a photo on a door.
