Swedish house, too

Jacob of Ocala, Florida posted a Swedish house this morning.
All the way up,
at the other end of the East Coast,
in Vermont,
we have Swedish houses, too.

This looks like a Victoria house we have here in Brookville but painted in the traditional colors of the time. I didn't know there was such a things as a Swedish House. Golly, that makes me wonder what else I don't know?

Thanks for your visit to my Pick a Peck of Pixels Blog and for your comment there about busing to school. And your visit helps me get closer to my original goal: 10,000 visits. Pick a Peck of Pixels

this is such an adorable looking house. So cute and these type of houses make such great bed and breakfast locations.

Beautiful and so eye-catching!

The paint job on the house enhances its facade, although it's so lovely, I doubt that makes too much difference. Great place to live, I'd bet!

I am wracking my brain trying to think of any Swedish style houses in my neck -of-the-woods around the Tampa Bay area.

If just having a 353,000 square foot IKEA store sitting near our Ybor City Historic District counts, in bold Swedish yellow and blue, counts then YES, we too have a Swedish house.

I could live here... in high school and my collegiate years I lived on the third floor of our house. It was sort of like an apartment. Mom and rest of the family called it the 'monastery'.

A very nice one too. Not a chance to find anything like this here...

Very pretty house! I can see myself on a rocking chair on the veranda, with a cool drink!

Love it, Brattcat! But your Swedes must be richer than mine...that's a fabulous-looking place!

Ya shure!

Why is this a Swedish house? Because of the colours?

Love the Swedish palette on this old house. Fantastic porch . . . fantastic house. I'm on the lookout now for a "Swedish House" in Quincy.

Great looking house. I don't know if we have any Swedish style houses. What makes it different from a Victorian "Painted Lady?"

Another "Swedish" house that you will never find in Sweden!

But it's still a cool house.
