My guess is that they had to install behind the already existing parking meter, yes.
It is an interesting wall of images. Were they all taken in your town or scattered across your area? I am afraid that here in Sydney, that wall of faces would simply attract moustaches and glasses and eventually meaningless graffiti.
Hello sweet Brattcat! Thank you so much for your always kind comments.I liked a lot your words! Your post today is very cool! I think this idea about portraits is very interesting and those pictures are beautiful, we can imagine many stories behind the faces. They look so happy and easygoing! It's nice to see it on the streets! Léia :)

Your visits are always appreciated. That is my hardest job. To post things so people who stop once, will want to come back.

I love it. Photo booths capture the most interesting expressions. To put them up is great idea.
Nice post!
Interesting. The parking meter offers a bit of whimsey.
I like that! the portrait of a street, or of a city, through a wall of pictures. Citizens are the ingredients of the mood of a place.
That's a cool idea.
Thanks so much for your comments.
Sunny :)

I love the way that people can be art, as well as make it.

I would gladly put money in the meters if I had this background all the time!!
Is your portrait included, bc? The meter looks like part of the installation.
How fabulous and especially the B and W against the greenery.
