The closest I could come to this is a kangaroo who can show the same inquisitiveness. However, they like more open terrain ... they have their own unique method of escaping peril.

We have been seeing more and more of them each day in Michigan.
What a wonderful post, and a wonderful poetic comment.
This is a photo that makes me smile!
Sorry about the bear. You'll just have to grin and bear it!
This is a marvelous picture, it could almost be a painting.
Thank you for all your kind comments on my postings.
Sunny :)
They are indeed alert and curious. Someone has raised them well, but where are the parents?
Good luck with a bear photo next time.
On the right time
on the right place .....
So lovely photo
:)
Terrific capture. Perhaps it's beter you missed the brar...not quite as sweet as the deer.
Nice post!
How lucky you are! Lovely shot.
Well good for you. I hope they live a long life.
Lucky you!
They are adorable, thanks for this lovely post!

Nice photo, pity about the bear. I have not seen any deer in Yorkshire these last few months. Perhaps I need to get out more.
Adorable! I love seeing them. The bear (and cougar) sightings seem to come more often during a dry summer, at least in places I've lived.
How lovely! I've inly rarely seen them.
Such a serene moment! We'd never see a scene like that where I am.

Great 'catch,' brattcat. You prowl with other beauties. But the bear: it didn't worry you?
Bears! Oh My!. What a great shot of these lovely creatures.
and ticks on your back.
Nice shot ♪
Wonderful!!
Tks to You.
Oh, how sweet ;)
Just incredible!
Lovely images, I like them better than a bear, and the colors are so intense. Very good catch.
Did you have time to tell them they were gonna be all around the blogosphere!!!
What a treat to see and capture on film for us.
