Wednesday doorway: laundry and prayer flags

for years this balcony has welcomed small gatherings of international students.
even in winter they bundle up and sit out and talk late into the night.
sometimes the talk is serious but mostly these students laugh together.
o, how they laugh.

Living in a blue house often makes people happy. Noone can be sad among colors..

That's what we need - more people from all areas of the world getting to know each other one on one and laughing!

With the laundry hanging out, it does look like a student area, but the flags I don't understand: "prayer flags"? I've not heard of such...

Lovely photo, Brattcat! Great colors!

Are they neighbours of yours?
I would do the opposite;
the prayer flags on the parapet and the laundry on the line!! ;~))

I guess they can see the funnier side of things.

How about this cold weather?

I like your multi-colored flags. Very bright.

Hey Kitty-
Thursday's Boston Globe "G" Magazine highlighted Bratcat's home town. Take a look... the column is "One Tank". Premise? Cool places to go one a tank of gas. Worth a look
