move over nessie

this isn't exactly 'champ'--vermont's answer to the loch ness monster.
'champ' has been sighted in lake champlain, about three hours northwest of brattleboro.
this little serpent hangs out in the confluence between the west and connecticut rivers.

This is funny. Beside the Loch Ness monster, it reminds me of the river right next to the Royal Palace in Stockholm. There is a giant hand and finger pointing up out of water.

Thank you for your comment on our Viva la Voyage site today. The ship tat ou commented about is not actuallly a cruise ship. It is the ferry that carries people from Buenos Airs across to Colonia, Uruguay.

this is great fun! make sure our bloggers in Scotland get to see this guy. I am glad you enjoyed the Glen Canyon Dam photo I have posted today. it is quite a marvel.

I'm guessing 'lil Champ is making his/her way over to the Marina for lunch..:)

That is so funny. About 25 years ago, we lived in The Woodlands, Texas just north of Houston...the powers-that-be dredged a new lake and in the midst of the lake put a dragon exactly like this one.

I did a double-take! Amazing.

I wonder how many more are out there?

Thanks for a really fun shot!

I wonder if it manages to scare off the birds.
