the big apple

went down to New York City on Thursday
for my niece's graduation.
spent more time traveling from Vermont to New York and back again
than I spent in that pulsing city
but the trip was worth every jitter-glitter minute.

Terrific photo - from your hotel?

Isn't NYC great fun? I'll be the graduation was a good time, too!

What a great shot. New York is always a good time. I love your purple rain comment on my site. I should have had purple rain playing in the background. I need to set up music sometimes with my photos. I have enjoyed your comments. I went to a photography workshop the past week and we will see if I have learned some new skills to improve my photos. Time will tell.

Never been to NYC. Your photo shows the city from the angle I've never seen before. And I always think yellow cab is so New York :).
Congratulation to your niece. Have a nice weekend, Brattcat.

Great shot--such a contrast to the Vermont photos, mm?

I've always liked the country better than the city - but a great shot is a great shot.

I have not travelled in the United States at all. I am surprised with the number of trees along this street. What street is it?

This is actually such an engrossing image: who woulda thunk that there would be a school x-ing ... are some of those buildings what are known as "brownstones"?
