skywatch friday

Brooding skies overhead,
soggy earth below,
and my poor feet have been cold for days...
Is it really the first day of summer on Sunday?

I see the branches as trying to reach out to one another. Great sky and clouds, beautiful image.

Thanks, Tanya and Siva.
VP: I too felt that way about the shot. It has that Adam and God feel to it, doesn't it?

We got hit with a terrible storm yesterday afternoon with threats of tornadoes...

It ain't fun.

I can't believe that you're cold. It is so hot here! 95 again today! I don't get it...this is August weather for us!

Spooky photo, Brattcat. I see these now and want to hide!

Wonderful choice! The touch of green adds so much beauty on this shot!

In Australia, a sky like this would be swirling and moving quite quickly whilst it forms ready to dump on somewhere about 100kms away.

Good picture/story ...

Brooding sky for sure. You really captured a mood here . . . kind of an Alfred Hitchcock feel . . . where are the birds?
